1. Data Subject Rights
You are entitled to the following statutory data subject rights, provided that the prerequisites are met. As a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR, you have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR.
You also have the right to have any incorrectly collected personal data corrected or incompletely collected data completed (Art. 16 GDPR). Furthermore, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your data, provided the legal requirements for this are met (Art. 18 GDPR).
You can request that your data be transferred to another controller (right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR). In return, you will receive the personal data in question in a structured, common, and machine-readable format.
In addition, you have the so-called "right to be forgotten," meaning you can request that we delete your personal data, provided the legal requirements for doing so are met (Art. 17 GDPR). Regardless of this, personal data will be automatically deleted if the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies or if the data processing was carried out unlawfully.
According to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. This means that in the future we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent.
You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time, provided that the right to object is provided for by law and there are reasons for doing so that arise from your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms.

In the event of violations of data protection regulations, those affected have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. The responsible authority for us is the Landesbeauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.)
2. Data processing on our websites
When you visit our websites, personal data may be temporarily processed. Each time you access our website, usage data is transmitted to us or our web host or IT service provider. This data is provided by the Internet browser used and stored in log files (server log files). This data includes the names of the pages accessed, the time of access, the (pseudonymized) IP address, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider. Our primary interest is the trouble-free operation of our website and the improvement of our services. We also use the data to evaluate system security and stability. We expressly do not use data to draw conclusions about individuals. This data is not merged with other data sources. Furthermore, the data is deleted after statistical analysis.
When you visit our website, our web server temporarily stores each access in a log file. The following data is recorded and stored until automatically deleted:

3. Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data
When processing data, your legitimate interests are always taken into account in accordance with legal provisions. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us when contacting us (such as your name, email address, or postal address). We use these data you provide without your separate consent exclusively for answering your questions.

4. Use of cookies on our website (wafios-umformtechnik.com)
In order to make your visit to our website more convenient, to enable the use of certain functions, and for market research purposes, we use so-called cookies on various pages of our website. Cookies are small text files. These are stored when you visit our website. A distinction is made between session cookies and persistent cookies. 5. Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager on our website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
With the help of Google Tag Manager, we can integrate various technologies on our website. These are tracking and statistics tools. Google Tag Manager is merely a tool for managing and integrating tools. It does not perform any analyses or create user profiles. However, the accessing IP address is recorded, which may also be transferred to the USA.
The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the simple and rapid integration of various tools. If consent to processing is required, this is based on Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR. Corresponding consent can be revoked at any time.
6. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics relies on cookies – see section 4. These cookies enable us to analyze your use of our website. Google stores cookies on your computer for a period of up to two years. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with other services related to website and internet usage. 7. Use of the online contact form
When you use the online contact form, we only collect personal data (such as your name and email address) to the extent you provide it. Mandatory information is marked with an asterisk (*). We will only use your email address to process your request. We will store your data as long as necessary to process your request and/or if statutory retention periods prevent us from deleting your data.

8. Processing of orders
We use the customer data provided to us in connection with an order or inquiry for contract processing or handling your request. Without this information, we cannot execute or process your order or inquiry.

9. YouTube
We have our own presence on the video platform YouTube.com. We use this to make our own videos about our company and our products available to the public. YouTube is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
If you follow the "YouTube" links on our website, you will be redirected to the "WAFIOS Umformtechnik GmbH" account on YouTube. YouTube uses user data (IP address and, if applicable, personal information) for business purposes. We refer to YouTube's data usage guidelines. If you are logged in to YouTube or Google while watching our videos, the view can be personally attributed to you. We do not receive any personal data and cannot assign a view to any individual.

10. Social Networks
We present ourselves on various social networks, which are listed in detail below. You can find out about our products, services, and activities there. You can also communicate with us.
We expressly point out that when using social platforms, user data may be processed outside the European Union. This can result in risks.
Social networks use user data for market research and advertising. The collected data is used, for example, in personalized advertising that takes into account the respective interests of the users. Cookies are stored on the devices used for this purpose. These allow conclusions to be drawn about user behavior and interests.
We process your personal data on social networks based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR). Our goal is to ensure effective direct communication and to inform about our activities, products, and services. If consent to data processing is required, the processing will be carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR. and Art. 7 GDPR.
It is not possible for us to track all processing operations carried out by social network providers. Therefore, please direct any requests for information to the respective operators. Only they have access to user data and can therefore provide information. If other data subjects assert their rights, the operators may take action. 11. Application Management
If you apply to us on your own initiative or for one of the advertised vacancies, we will require your personal data. Providing this data is necessary for the application and decision-making process. You can apply by mail, email, or via our application portal. Your data will be processed to conduct an application procedure. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR, i.e., the processing takes place based on pre-contractual measures. If special types of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR are processed (e.g., health data), the legal basis is Art. 26 para. 3 BDSG or Art. 9 para. 2 lit. b GDPR in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR. Automated decision-making does not take place.
Only authorized personnel from the human resources department or persons involved in the application process have access to your data. Your data will not be transferred to third parties. For our application processes, we use the "on apply" tool provided by On-apply GmbH, Schumannstraße 27, 60325 Frankfurt am Main. When you use the online application form, your application is transmitted securely and encrypted. In this context, the provider is our processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The basis for processing is a contract for order processing between us as the responsible party and On-apply GmbH.

12. Emarsys
We use technologies from Emarsys eMarketing Systems GmbH, Lassallestraße 7b, 1020 Vienna, Austria. This is a technical marketing service provider. We use this tool to organize, implement, and analyze advertising measures, in particular newsletter marketing. We use this tool to inform you about our product offerings and events. Cookies or tracking pixels may be stored on our website for evaluation purposes. This makes it possible to track which newsletter messages have been opened and which links have been clicked. The data collected is processed exclusively anonymously. There is no linking to personal data.
The legal basis for processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR. We may also use your email address in connection with the sale of a product or service on the basis of Art. 7 para. 3 of the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG), provided you have not objected to such use. The basis for this processing is our legitimate economic interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our interest is to provide our customers with promotional information.
Emarsys works for us on behalf of us. We have concluded a corresponding data processing agreement.
